Testimonials:

“The Houma Jambalaya Jubilee is one of the nicest events an author will ever attend. The library itself is gorgeous, but nothing to compare with the feeling one has arriving, taking part in, and even leaving--some of the magnificent hospitality offered here comes home in the heart. From the moment your plane lands, this is a special occasion, with amazing organization, attendance, and care given to every detail. Actually, leaving is hard to do—I think a part of you remains as well. Truly amazing, something I wish I could look forward to every single day!” —Heather Graham, New York Times Best Selling Author

"The Jubilee Jumbalaya Writers Conference and Book Fair in Houma may be small, but it is without a doubt the most fun of any conference I’ve ever attended and at $25 a head, it’s also a steal. Because it’s so much fun, and because Molly Bolden—co-owner of Bent Pages Bookstore and one of the sponsors—is such a hoot, they never have trouble attracting scores of great writers.

Steve and I kicked off the weekend with dinner Friday night at a restaurant in a big old house overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. The writing life doesn’t get much better than this: great food, a warm salt-laden breeze, and hours and hours spent talking and laughing with F. Paul Wilson, the incomparable, irrepressible Molly, Heather Graham and her ever-entertaining husband, Dennis, Hollywood screenwriter and novelist Alexandra Sokoloff, and more. If only I’d thought to bring my camera" —C.S. Harris, aka C.S. Graham

“Jubilee Jambalaya is a first-rate writers' conference and a wonderfully unique one, as distinctive as its locale. I was knocked out by the level of talent, expertise and the generosity of my colleagues, our hosts and the participants. I would love to come back every year!” —Harley Jane Kozak, Agatha, Anthony, and Macavity-award winning author of DEAD EX

"The Jubilee Jambalaya is a wonderful conference for all writers: Aspiring, newly published or multipublished. The collective energy generated by so many writers from such a variety of genres, will send you home inspired, enthused and bursting to write.  This is one conference not to miss!" —Rosemary Laurey, award-winning author of romance novels

"I have yet to find a regional conference that can compare—in both price and content—to the Jambalaya Jubilee. The vast array of genres represented guarantees something for all lovers of the written word. The event is simply fabulous."  — Farrah Rochon, Author of Release Me

“Jubilee Joy! The Jubilee Jambalaya Writers' Conference In Houma, LA. was wonderful!  The library was a beautiful site for the conference, and the attendees were friendly and eager to learn nore about getting published.   It was definitely an inspiring day!"  —Bobbi Smith, NY Times Best Selling Author

"I attend a lot of writers’ conferences and Jubilee Jambalaya is a perennial favorite of mine. It's cleverly conceived, well-organized, and extremely user friendly ... and they throw a great writers party, too!" —Ken Wells, author of Crawfish Mountain

“The Jubilee Jambalaya Writers Conference is a must for anyone serious about a writing career.  It offers invaluable advice and insights from all perspectives: the craft, the art, and the business of writing, yet still manages to be fun.  I recommend it without reservation.” —F. Paul Wilson, New York Times Best Selling Author and Creator of Repairman Jack
